Your Excellency, Commander! Welcome to the 18th century, the Age of Napoleon. It’s an entirely
new gaming mode, adding general skills and a new item system, and there are more than 200 famous
generals to choose including『Napoleon, Murat, Wellington, Nelson, Kutusov, Washington』and so on.
Every general can come up from ranks, from a common soldier to a marshal, from a citizen to an
Emperor.
Every troop has its own distinguishing features and if you can master them efficiently, you will
be invincible. Every troop can gain battle experience and when they become elite forces, their
battle effectiveness will be greatly improved.
The map system is entirely redesigned which supports seamless zooming and the territory and borders
of each nation is shown clearly. Besides using strategy to beat the enemies, you can also purchase
items in shops, hire generals in taverns and exchange supplies in markets.

Nice but,
I also play World Conqueror 4. But id rather play WC 4 because you need to occupate cities for getting bigger. But in European War 4 every move you take you „occupate“. And it doesnt look clean on the map. 5 stars if you change the occupate system. Its a really nice game and if you would change it I would play it often.

Incredible Game but one flaw
I love playing this game, I love creating armies and setting up defensive lines across fronts. But I have noticed often in conquest that my allies often move troops through my territory and even build forts on land they took from me. Not only does it make the borders look odd, it is just weird. Besides this the game offers a great variety of war situations and gives you TOTAL control over your armies and supply lines unlike many of their other games.
Jeu simplifié et absence de manuel.
Possiblement un bon jeu, mais l’absence de manuel se fait cruellement sentir. Après les tutoriels et une campagne et demie , je n’ai aucune idée de la plupart des fonctions du jeu : bonus du terrain, effet du moral, capacités des différentes unités, mode de progression et capacités des généraux, récupération des unités, amelioration des villes, et ainsi de suite. Absolument rien n’est expliqué (et les princesses? A quoi peuvent bien servir les princesses?) D’ailleurs les objectifs des parties ne sont pas clairement expliqués non plus. Peut-être que pour gagner je dois prendre le territoire à l’ouest? Ou la ville au sud? Vaincre les flottes russes? A moins que l’ennemi ne soit le Danemark? Qui sait? J’ai fini par abandonner ce jeu, lassé de ne pas savoir ce que je faisais. Je trouve incroyable, étant donné le temps qui a dû être consacré au développement de ce jeu, que ses créateurs n’aient pas pris le temps de rédiger des explications claires tant pour les règles que pour les parties. Donc 3/5 puisque le jeu semble bien fait pour ceux qui auront la patience de chercher à comprendre par essai et erreur comment ils fonctionne. Par ailleurs, il ne s’agit pas d’un wargame réaliste. Bien qu’il soit à l’echelle stratégique (toute l’Europe), c’est en fait un jeu tactique très simplifié : il y a des pions infanterie, cavalerie, artillerie (qui donc tire à peu près à 300 kilomètres), ces catégories étant elle-même subdivisées (milice,ligne,garde...), chacun occupant un hexagone, donc le jeu ressemble plutôt au déroulement d’une bataille, et même plutôt d’une escarmouche, vu le petit nombre d’unités en jeu. Donc ceux qui comme moi aiment les wargames classiques seront déçus.
